Do you suffer from ‘Photo Indigestion’?

Do you love ‘taking pictures’?

Do you have thousands of them stashed on your smartphone? Are there thousands more hidden away on your computer or hard drive?

If so – then you may be suffering from ‘photo indigestion’. It makes us as uncomfortable and bloated as overeating at the Christmas dinner table.

I believe we’ve become photo gluttons. Digital photography has made us ‘pig out’ on imagery.  And ‘bingeing’ is never a good tactic.

As professional photographers we keep our photo files well organized and accessible.  But we too have fallen prey to the overload issue in with our personal photos.

There are a lot of problems created by our digital photography addiction. Let me share my technology mantra:

“Technology is a tool we choose to use,
it must not turn us into ‘tools’ “

With that in mind, I’d like to share an article from the CBC website titled “What Am I Going To Do With All These Digital Photos”.  It’s a good place to start a ‘cure’ our photo indigestion.

I’m working on a few more articles about this topic.  There’s lots to learn about taking control of technology in our lives.  Why not start with the photographs we are hoarding instead of truly appreciating?

I’d love to hear your comments and insights about this topic.  Have you got solutions that you’d like to share with the rest of us??  Please do so in the comments section below.

And by all means share this article with others.  You can do it by email, or the social media options below.  Oh – and help us spread the uplift of our “BoostLetter” to others.  Suggest they sign up on our website
