As “Printographers” we believe that portraits need to be seen to bring their full value to light every day.
Classic family portraits are a great way to preserve family history for generations to come.
During your portrait session we will create many memorable images. But what to do with them now?
Portraits are meant to be seen, not stored in a drawer or stashed away on a computer hard drive or smartphone. That’s why we offer many different “collection” options for presenting your portraits for easy display.
Portrait Albums
We create beautifully designed coffee table albums from a series of images created during your portrait session. These albums are designed with backgrounds and design elements that enhance the “story-telling” aspects of your family. They are bound with the finest attention to detail and lay flat when open for easy viewing of the entire image. This enables us to incorporate full double page spreads to highlight selected images.
We can show you all of this right before your eyes on our ProSelect viewing system.

Leather-Style Folios
These ebony leather-style book folios come in 2 and 3 panel styles and can incorporate several images in different sizes.
They are suitable for display on desks, end tables, pianos, or shelves where close-up viewing is possible.
Wall Folios
These are designed to hang on the wall and can feature several of your favourite images in a striking presentation, either framed or as a more “contemporary” float-mount.
In either case the final presentation is laminated for protection, eliminating the need for glass and it’s inherent risks of breakage and glare.
Portraits on Canvas
Traditional Canvas prints are produced on Kodak Endura silver based paper. The photo emulsion is laminated with a satin finish, stripped away from its paper base and, under high pressure, bonded to museum quality artist’s canvas.
This 100% cotton canvas is available in two weights; 7 oz. and 10 oz. The 7 oz. canvas has a lighter texture that may be better suited to smaller head sizes or when a more subtle canvas look is desired. The 10oz. version has a coarser texture that creates a more pronounced canvas look.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas has the full image wrapped around the sides and slightly along the back of the stretcher frame. All Gallery wraps arrive as completed pieces ready for display with a choice of wire hanger, saw-tooth hanger or recessed wall buddies.
Portraits on Metal
These High Gloss and Clear Metal prints are a very unique medium for presenting images. Luxuriously rendered by infusing dye directly on to a coated aluminum substrate, the result is a vibrant, impressive print with great resolution and detail that seems to glow from within.
They are available in many sizes as print only or as a “3D layered” version.
This stunning presentation features a front print on high gloss coated aluminum and a duplicate “back” print, printed on a larger clear metal plate. The front image floats 1″ (2 cm) above the back image. This gives the portrait a very compelling “3D effect” that seems to move as you walk around the room.
Wall Collages
A very cool way to hang multiple images on your wall.
These come in many configurations which we design right on our ProSelect system with you. Off sizes are featured to add unusual and dynamic cropping of images.
Portraits are either laminated on Masonite or adhered to high-gloss optical acrylic for maximum impact.
Wall Collages come with a paper pattern and special pins to make alignment and hanging a breeze.
