Can you believe it’s been 10 years since the last skate in the old Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre?
Yep! Ten years ago Roger photographed the final public skate at “The Old Barn” on April 25, 2010.
We thought you might like to hop on the wayback machine (for all you who remember Rocky and Bullwinkle) and take a trip down memory lane. We’ve included the old lobby, dressing rooms and the Bears Den as well as “From The Goalmouth” and “The Last Skate”.
The panoramic image called “From The Goalmouth” hangs in many a man-cave literally around the world. Prints of this are still being purchased as gifts, even after ten years.
