Let’s waste a little time right now listening to the perfect ‘waste some time’ song
Marc Jordan and Molly Johnson are fabulous Canadian artists. This is my fav version of this song which was also written by Marc Jordan.
Did you know that brilliant people like Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens only worked about five hours a day? That’s right and they are world famous folks who accomplished a lot in their lifetimes.
And yet we run around being busy like the proverbial ‘chickens with our heads cut off’. An awful analogy – but hits the nail on the head. With our high tech lives filled by computers, tablets and smartphones, we are at the beck and call of everyone and everything all the time.
In case you didn’t know – this truly is not good for any of us. And yet it’s hard to get off the merry-go-round.
I came across a short article that explains this a bit more, along with some resources if you want to learn more. The website is called “Quartz”. It’s a great resource and worth exploring. Their mission as stated on the website is:
“Quartz was founded in 2012 to serve a new kind of business leader with bracingly creative and intelligent journalism that’s built for users first. We help our audience see around corners, navigate disruption in their industries, build fulfilling careers, broaden their views of the world, and enjoy lives rich with culture.”

It’s a short and enlightening read. Share your thoughts with us below. Do you have any tips for slowing down your pace and doing some terrific ‘wasting time’? If so please share them below as well.
Right now I’m going to waste some time, sitting back and listening to Molly and Marc sing again!!
