I know using ‘superlative’ words in a blog post is a ‘ NO – NO’!!! But seriously – when you watch this video your jaw will drop as your spirits soar! Remember, the next time someone tells you to go “fly a kite” think about what you have seen!
The man flying the 3 kites is in his 80s, and he’s from Canada . He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year. His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist. Enjoy!
Make sure that you watch to the very end to see the amazing landing of that last kite! I would have those kites so tangled up, you could never get them separated again! And of course, make sure the volume is turned up because the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the kits.

Not being a kite flier, I can’t figure out how he doesn’t get them all tangled, let alone soar in unison (especial the third one attached to his body). Makes you want to buy a kite!

I’ve just moved from the Ottawa area to Vancouver and on a break while settling in, browsed my Facebook page to find a link to this video. Absolutely amazing! Had a tear in my eye, proud to be Canadian and to see someone this age creating something as beautiful as this.
