Do you know your digital music could disappear?

I love, love, love music.  I’m not a musician (maybe in my next life) but I am a daily consumer of music.  Life would be dismal without music.

My ‘go to’ music device is my trusty iPod Classic.  I’ll be devastated when it no longer works.  Apple discontinued this epic device – way too soon. Did you know they’re more expensive to buy now than they were originally?  Just shows how much demand there still is for them.

Sorry – I digress.  What blew me away recently was a post titled “Apple Stole My Music, No Seriously”.  It’s an interesting true story and I recommend you read it – RIGHT NOW!

Bottom line is that you should ALWAYS keep a backup of all digital media that you have purchased.  Do not rely solely on ‘the cloud’ or third party servers to be the only source for storing your important media (AND that includes your photographs).

My mantra about digital technology is:

“WHEN IT’S GOOD – IT’S VERY, VERY GOOD

WHEN IT’S BAD – IT’S HORRID”
