What do you think of a high profile celebrity who makes a stand that will benefit women of all ages?
Kate Winslet recently ‘put her money where her mouth is’. She has has been outspoken in the past on her stance against retouching her photographs for magazine spreads and ads.
Now Kate has gone even step further by including a “no retouching” clause in her modeling contract with cosmetic giant L’Oréal. She knows that women of all ages read and look at advertising images online and in magazines. We all judge ourselves harshly in light of those images.
Bravo to her very public stance and statement about having a responsibility to the younger generation of women.
“…I would always want to be telling the truth about who I am to that generation because they’ve got to have strong leaders. We’re all responsible for raising strong young women….”
