There’s lots of cool things about living in “the country”.
It’s quiet, there’s lots of trees and there is lots of wildlife to watch. It’s really fun catching a flash of orangey-red out of the corner of your eye and then seeing a fox making his/her regular patrol around the neighbourhood.
But we’ve discovered there’s a new Fox In The Pines.
Jeremy VanWingerden, our neighbour across the road, has just launched his own landscaping design and installation business. And we’ve just completed their logo design and we are working on their website too.
We’ve admired Jeremy and his wife Angie’s work around their house since they bought it a few years ago. Jeremy is a horticulture grad from the University of Guelph and has a wealth of knowledge about all things plants. He has transformed their plain bungalow into a showpiece complete with apple orchard and deer-proof garden and a thriving chicken coop. It’s very cool to stop at their house when we are walking Morgan to pick up a dozen of the freshest eggs you’ll ever find.
He’s also a wizard with “hardscaping”. That’s doing stuff with pavers, rocks, stone and boulders.
Angie and Jeremy have a daughter who uses a wheelchair, so Jeremy has become an expert in accessible landscape design. Let’s face it, as the population ages, more and more of us are going to want to make our homes more accessible. If you hate the look of zig-zag wooden ramps outside your home – Jeremy is the guy to talk to. He’s not just going by theory – he’s designing from practical experience.
We are thrilled to be working with them on their marketing. The website is currently under construction at fitplandscaping.com. You can contact Jeremy there or via email here. If you are planning a landscape project now or in the future, get in touch.
We’ll let you all know when the website is completed too!
