Thanksgiving is always a wonderful time of the year. Families gather together to celebrate the bounty of what nature has to offer. Fall colours are amazing. The weather is crisp and the house is cozy with the fire crackling and the turkey roasting in the oven.
Thanksgiving weekend is also one of the busiest on our schedule for family portraits. It is surprising how many calls we get from Moms who have packed off their first offspring to college or university and then realized how much they miss them. They usually return home for the first time for the Thanksgiving holiday (mainly to do laundry and get a home-cooked meal) but that makes Thanksgiving weekend an ideal time for a family portrait.

We’re making all three days of the Thanksgiving weekend available for your family portrait. Normally we try not to work Sundays and holidays, and when we do we charge a premium fee. BUT for this special weekend we are extending our Saturday session fee to Sunday and Monday as well.
