Whether you like Oprah or not – she gave a great commencement speech at Harvard this year! It’s well worth the watch!!
Pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy this speech (runs just under 30 min.). I loved watching the face of an Asian faculty member who was sitting behind Oprah during her time at the podium. His reactions were testament to Oprah’s skills at the microphone.
She hits on every emotion during the speech and reveals a lot of personal insights and stories to drive home her message and intentions. Oprah also received an honorary doctorate from Harvard the same day she gave this speech – so she no doubt felt ‘speechless’ even as she was giving her speech.
