My Parent’s 70th Wedding Anniversary

Sands-weddingWow. That’s a looooong time. My parents – Jim & Evelyn Sands were married March 1, 1944. They’re still together, happy and relatively healthy, living at home, still driving and enjoying life.

We held a celebration for them on April 5th at The Smiths Falls Station Theatre, where 150 of their friends, relatives and neighbours gathered to congratulate them on a very special occasion.

There were lots of comments on their longevity and what an inspiration they are to so many people. There were also lots of compliments on the great invitation that was mailed out to invite people to attend. Many wanted to know how we did it, so Roger has created a short video of how easy it was to create the card and mail it.

Click on the video below to see it made.

And congratulations Mum & Dad. Soon we will be planning your 75th!

    1. Thanks Jocelyne. Everybody who received the invitation said they have kept it as a real keepsake of a special couple. Sure beats an email. Glad you enjoyed the video. My parents were thrilled with their special day.
