I know, I know…
I’m a pretty cool ‘Dood’ (as in Golden Doodle). I hate to brag – but folks tell me this a LOT!
You should see me ‘reel‘ my fans in when we’re sitting on café patios.
BUT – I have to make a confession!!
I can be quite a ‘scaredy-cat’ too.
It happens when there is thunder & lightning, fireworks or the smoke detector false alarm.
But God bless my Mum. She always finds solutions to problems. What she found is called a “Thundershirt”. She read about it in a United Airlines magazine.
It’s amazing and it works wonders. I don’t get it – but somehow it stops my shaking and my panting. Mum says it’s cause I’m ‘swaddled’ with the shirt. It goes on real easy with velcro.
Now believe it or not – they have them for cats too! My Mum just discovered that, while helping me write this article. Anyhow – here’s their website – some really cool stuff here! Almost as cool as me!!
