All Aboard for the Edwardian Tea

Remember the warm days of summer? You’re right, we don’t either!

But there were some and we have the video to prove it.

Each year the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario in Smiths Falls hosts an old fashioned Edwardian Tea at the beautifully restored former CNR station. Strolling musicians, a large selections of teas and scrumptious cakes and other treats await guests on their “return to yesteryear”.

Last July, on a warm (yes, there were some in July) windy day, we attended the Tea and produced a short video of the day for the Museum.

The Museum itself is a fascinating collection of railroad memorabilia and is well worth a visit. They even have cabooses that you can stay in for a night. What a cool way to spend a vacation evening with the kids.
