I first learned of Brené Brown about 7 years ago.
Now, I’d have to call myself a stalker, ’cause I follow her work like a maniac!
Her first TED talk in 2010 went viral. To date it has nearly 40 million views. One of the top 5 TED talks ever!!
When Brené speaks, she is more like a stand up comic, rather than the academic that she is.
Her bio on Wikipedia states:
“Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work.”
She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of five #1 New York Times best sellers.
On April 19th Netflix launched a Brené Brown special “Call to Courage”. It’s already a BIG HIT. I watched it the day it was launched and absolutely loved it. You will too. Click here or on the image of Brené to watch the trailer.
If you don’t have Netflix – DO NOT DESPAIR!!
