Are you up for a laugh, a few tears, a warm heart AND an a-ha moment??

I apologize.    RIGHT HERE — RIGHT NOW!

I always strive to keep things short and hopefully sweet in my blogs for you.  I know you’re busy – so am I.  But sometimes, we need to slow down a wee bit.  Really ‘good stuff’ that touches our life is not always measured in seconds.

With that in mind, I am offering up an amazing video for you to enjoy.  WARNING – it’s a bit longer than 30 minutes in length.  That being said – you can always watch it in sections.  Do it any way you want.   Just DO IT!

It’s an interview by Marie Forleo (an all time favourite of mine).  She’s speaking to Dr. Brené Brown.  No doubt, you may know that name – she gets a lot of Google hits.  Good grief, even Oprah loves her!

Brené’s 2010 TEDx Houston talk, The Power of Vulnerability, is one of the top five most viewed TED talks in the world, with over 25 million viewers.  If you want to see more credentials – scroll to the bottom of this post.  Otherwise – keep reading and to see the video and BE IMPRESSED!

Brené’s brand new book is called “Braving The Wilderness”. It’s destined to be a New York Times bestseller, just like her other titles. I haven’t read it yet – this interview has cinched that it will be on my Christmas wishlist.

(Note – I do not receive any financial benefits from promoting this book)

I loved listening to Marie and Brené banter back and forth. Their energy, intelligence, honesty and humour was magnetic .  WARNING – there is a wee bit of ADULT LANGUAGE – so you may want to listen with earphones or in private.  I was not offended whatsover, so I wouldn’t expect you to be either.

I came away with the feeling that this book is EXACTLY what we all need NOW.  Social and political divisions are rising on a daily basis. We all need our personal touchstone.  This book will definitely do that for you.

I will STOP my typing!!  Simply click right here’ or on the image below to watch these two dynamic women in action.  I’d love to hear your comments.  Have you heard Brené speak before OR read any of her books?  What did you think of this video or any of her other materials.

Please share your unique thoughts with us, in the comments below.
