Are the words ‘old’ and ‘aged’ too CHEESY in 2017?

Have you notitced that there’s something in the air lately??

In the past couple of weeks, I’ve bumped up against a wave of change.  It’s probably because of the “Boomers”.  I’ll admit that I’m one of them.

Terms like ‘pro-age’ and ‘perennials’ (as opposed to millenials) are cropping up in magazines, advertising, social media, magazines and newspapers.  I’ve never seen as much of this in such a short time span.

I believe it’s a good thing to get rid of stereotypes for all ages, situations and nations.  Just meet, greet and respect people as they are.  We’d all be much happier and healthier if we did.

Below is a video that hits on my point.   It appeared on Facebook last week.  It’s not brand new – a bit OLD itself (only 2016).  I’d seen it before – but it hit me on another level with recent discoveries.

So go ahead and hit here or on the image below and take a look. It’s funny and touching.  You will laugh and perhaps be inspired – whether you are a millenial or a perennial.

I discovered a couple of interesting links while researching this article.  You might enjoy them:

Are you a millenial or a perennial?  Maybe somewhere in between? How did this video make you feel about the sterotypes of age? Have you experienced any such prejudice in your life?  How did it affect you?  Leave your comments below – I’d love to hear what you’d like to share.
