It’s hard to believe it’s been almost six years since the old Memorial Community Centre had the ice removed for the last time.
Just before that happened, Roger had the forethought to photograph the “old barn” to capture forever what Smiths Falls skaters saw for over 50 years. His “pano-scopic” image called “From the Goalmouth” hangs in many a man-cave throughout the Ottawa Valley.
We thought that the demand for this print would have dropped off long ago, but we are still getting requests for it for gifts for birthdays, Father’s Day and Christmas.
There is still time to order for Christmas giving this year.
