Yikes – Has It Really Been 40 Years?

You may have noticed our new “seal” in our newsletter header and on our website. Yep, we were shocked too!

We opened our mail one day last year to find a letter from a company that sells stick-on seals, congratulating us on our upcoming 40th anniversary of being in business.

We looked at each other and thought – How can that be??? Then we did the math and sure enough we incorporated Arranel Studios Ltd. in 1976. Who knew 10 year old kids could incorporate a company LOL

It’s been quite a ride and it ain’t over yet! We’ve survived several recessions, huge changes in technology as things moved from film to digital and the loss of much of Roger’s hair.

We have some interesting things planned to mark this milestone year. There will be some Studio Special Portrait Sessions throughout the year (HINT: based around the number 40). We have some cool retrospective ideas percolating in our ever-agile brains.

Roger will also be sharing his years of experience as a photographer through several on-line courses and in-person workshops later this year.

We’ll be keeping you informed of these through our email newsletter and on our website (currently being totally revamped for this special year).
