If you’re not growing – you’re dying!! Regardless of your age that statement is true.
Think SIMPLE. A flower begins as a seed and goes through many stages before it’s a beautiful blossom. Every stage is important and necessary.
Well humans too, have many beautiful stages throughout our lives. And yet we often think we are too young, too busy, too fearful, too tired, too old…… you get my drift.
Well that’s called ‘stinking thinking’.
Let’s look at one aspect – amazing children who weren’t too young. Craig Kielburger was 12 years old when he began work that led to the creation of the organization, Free the Children. Was he too young?? Definitely NOT! The amazing story of Malala Yousafzai, who at age 12 began her human advocacy work and overcame a horrific murder attack by a Taliban gunman. She is the youngest recipient of the Nobel Prize for all her work. In 2017 she celebrated her 20th birthday. Once again – NOT too young.
At the other end of the spectrum is the ‘I’m too old’ story. Let’s take a deeper look at that one…
