Do you love your ‘pits’??

How are your armpits today?
Mine are much better off with my new ‘healthy & happy pits’  discovery.

On the weekend, I attended a class given by the essential oil guru in my community.   She’s a trained health and wellness professional and shared an interesting fact.

Most breast cancers are found in the left breast.  One reason for that is that most of us are right handed.  So when we are applying our deodorant we are apparently more generous applying it to our left armpit.   Why is that a problem??

For years we’ve been warned about the bad chemicals found in underarm hygiene products. These chemicals are a nightmare for our health.  A quick Google check revealed the following:

Just look at the list of chemical ingredients in an average deodorant:
  • Aluminum Compounds. Aluminum is the ingredient in antiperspirants that actually clogs your pores and prevents sweating. …
  • Parabens. …
  • Steareths. …
  • Triclosan. …
  • Propylene Glycol. …
  • TEA and DEA. …
  • Artificial Colors.

Now back to my discovery – Native Deodorant!!!

It’s highly ranked for safety, and effectiveness.  It’s a godsend for my pits!

I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it.  I’m a sweaty, active girl at least three days a week, riding and training my horse.  The other days of the week I also sweat and can get smelly too.  So I need an effective safe product.

You can click here or on the photo to go to their website.  You’ll be impressed with the products for both men and women.  Also lots of terrific and seasonal scents, as well an unscented.  Tons of reviews to check out too!

They offer free shipping and free returns. Their customer service is also terrific. And I adore their mini travel sizes.

You can simply buy as needed (like I do) or you can subscribe for regular shipments.

Just so you know – I do not receive any remuneration for promoting these products.  I just love sharing good news with my good people.

If you’re a bit of a curious ‘Georgette’ and want to dig a little deeper…. here’s a link to a third party blog called “Gimme the Good Stuff” about Deodorant Safety.  Please note that they also promote and sell other products.  I have not tried them and can make no comment on them.  However, I found the blog about deodorants very informative and helpful, if you’re interested.

Please share your thoughts below about ‘pit hygiene’ or any other healthy body matters that you believe in.  Let’s share what we know.  By all means pass this along to all your friends for their ‘pits education’.
