What a fascinating time travel adventure for a Canadian family. Watch them travel from the 1940’s to the 1990’s.
For the last five weeks, we’ve tuned in once a week to watch this brilliant show. A few months ago, a colleague of ours, who worked on the 6 week series, contacted us that this show was ‘coming down the pike’. She thought we’d enjoy it and she was absolutely right.
We’ve been faithful fans for five weeks and there is only one show remaining. We’ll miss tuning in. However, fortunately we can watch it online through the CBC website.
Consider this our wholehearted recommendation for you to take a look at the series. You and your family will get a kick out of seeing this family ‘live through’ each decade and see how it affects their day to day living. This is ‘reality TV’ at it’s very best (in my humble opinion).
‘Hit this spot’ or the graphic below to get a quick overview of the series. You’ll also find a link to take you to the actual ‘Back In Time For Dinner’ website so that you can access each of the episodes. The last episode airs on July 19. Enjoy it most by starting at the first episode and continuing through each one in order.
I also discovered a fun quiz on their website that let’s you determine what decade you belong in. So if you’re a fan of easy and fun quizzes – you might want to ‘hit the spot here’ or on the image on the right to take the quiz.
Share the fun with your friends and family by sending the link to this blog to them. You can do it through the share icons below or simply copy and paste the URL and send it through email or text. Share your quiz results with us. Then let us know when you watch the episode that’s ‘your decade’. What did you think after viewing? Just so you know – my decade appears to be the 1960’s.
