Below you will see a photo of the display portrait we just hung in our studio. We’ve done our best to show the features.
The portrait is rendered on wafer thin art aluminum. It’s burnished and textured for a ‘luxury look and feel’. A high gloss finish creates a glow from within. The daily change of light gives many subtle nuances to every image.
A unique type of ‘3D stacking’ is the key element to the dynamic presentation. We print the upper main image on a high gloss aluminum surface. For the lower layer, the same image is reprinted in a subtle uncoated metal layer. Then the two images are precisely stacked, aligned and finished as a unit.
When seen, the top image “floats” about an inch above the background. The effect is very cool. The top image seems to move as you walk around the room.
