“I feel very blessed that people will let me into their lives
and share their stories with me”
My sister Kim Morgan is an amazing woman. She’s worked for 27 years as a therapeutic recreationist. She’s a ‘pro’ about ‘play’. Her clients are all palliative.
I’ve always enjoyed the stories about her clients and all the cool things that she dreams up for them. I’ve learned a lot from her about the quality of life that we all want in our final years.
Kim herself loves life and seeks out all kinds of wonderful experiences. Her adventuresome nature translates into wonderful experiences for her clients.
She works at St Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. Hamilton Health Services recently featured her on their website. So here’s my brag – take a moment and read about my very cool sister – her work and her joy. We all want someone like Kim helping to ‘recreate’ our final days and making them as joyful as possible.
