We love keeping secrets!! Over the years we’ve had to keep a lot of them. Many surprise photographs that been tucked under Christmas trees or wrapped up for birthdays. It just goes with the kind of work that we do. However, eventually the secret is OUT and then we can enjoy it and share it with our clients.
BUT now we have a great secret that we are NOT ALLOWED to share with you. Here’s the story WHY….
We have been doing some fun and inspiring work for all of the Eastern Ontario Children’s Aid Societies. It all started two years ago when the phone rang and we were asked if we would be interested in creating videos for children in foster care who are looking for their “Forever Family”. We jumped at the opportunity – it took us right back to our university education as grads of Radio & Television Arts from Ryerson University.
NOW – I’d love to share the photographs and videos of the amazing children that we have been so fortunate to work with over the last two years. We’re sure you’d get a real kick out of seeing these children doing what they do best – being themselves. The videos have been shown at ten regional and provincial conferences for folks who want to adopt a child. We’re proud to say many of the children found their ‘forever family’ and the videos that we created definitely helped with that happy ending.
However, due to confidentiality, we can’t show you any of these. As you can appreciate, Children’s Aid Societies have a strict privacy policy to protect the children they serve. Videos with “blurred out” faces just don’t have the same impact.
