As a dog, I know how valuable I am to the health and happiness of my humans. I love them and we spend hours and hours together.
One day I heard my human listening to a CBC Radio interview about dogs who are helping humans cure cancer. Now that’s pretty important stuff. I was curious. My human was curious too. She went looking for some other cool information about dogs. I’ve heard of seeing eye dogs, bomb dogs and drug dogs. BUT never cancer dogs.
ALERT – these dogs are NOT, repeat NOT being used as drug trial animals. They receive the same care as humans. If drugs and procedures don’t work – they are stopped. My human would never promote the use of drug trial animals.
