What a surprise last week. I saw a video post of Jamie Oliver saying that he was in Canada. He wanted people’s input on his Food Revolution campaign before a meeting with Justin Trudeau.
I’m pretty sure everyone knows who Jamie Oliver is. If not – here’s a picture to jog your memory. I always loved his message about healthy food and great recipes.
He wants to enlist Trudeau’s support in the “Jamie’s Food Revolution” movement. The Revolution’s global focus food issues are: education, nutrition, food waste, our planet, cooking and ethical buying.
I jumped on board the Revolution website: http://www.jamiesfoodrevolution.org/ and checked it all out. I’ve signed up – how about you?
Jamie posted a follow up blog after his ‘meeting’ with Trudeau. He said that “Prime Minister Trudeau and Canada could be the game-changers we need, and I really hope that’s the case.”
Jamie Oliver was headed home with a spring in his step after his Canada visit. You can read his blog by clicking on the photo below of Jamie heading for the plane home.
